TrainerLinq Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of TrainerLinq (the "App"). By creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. What TrainerLinq is

TrainerLinq is a marketplace that connects independent personal trainers ("Trainers") with people seeking coaching ("Clients"). We are a platform, not a gym, not a healthcare provider, and not a trainer's employer. Trainers are independent contractors who set their own rates, schedules, and coaching methods. We facilitate the connection, scheduling, payment, and communication between Clients and Trainers — we do not supervise or guarantee the quality of coaching provided.

2. Health disclaimer

Nothing in the App is medical advice. Nutrition targets, workout plans, and any guidance from a Trainer are for general fitness purposes only. Consult a physician before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a pre-existing health condition. You are responsible for your own safety during any session, whether in-person or virtual.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. A client account and a trainer account are different roles and cannot be switched after signup — create a separate account if you need both.

4. Payments

5. Trainer responsibilities

If you're a Trainer, you represent that you hold any certifications you list on your public profile, that you're legally permitted to provide coaching services in your jurisdiction, and that you're responsible for your own taxes on income earned through the platform (we do not withhold taxes from your payouts — Stripe may issue relevant tax forms depending on your country and earnings).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: harass or abuse other users, post false certifications or credentials, use the platform to solicit payments outside of Stripe to avoid fees, upload content you don't have rights to, or attempt to access another user's data without authorization.

7. Content ownership

You own the content you upload (photos, bio, messages). By uploading a public-facing gallery photo or profile photo, you grant us a license to display it within the App for its intended purpose. Private content (progress photos, chat messages) is never used for any purpose beyond displaying it back to you and your linked coach/client.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or pose a safety risk to other users.

9. Limitation of liability

TrainerLinq is provided "as is." We are not liable for injuries, disputes, or damages arising from the coaching relationship between a Client and Trainer — that relationship is between the two of them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid us (which, as a 0%-fee platform, is typically $0) in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
